GETRAKEBACK is Stake's code for unlocking rakeback on an account. Unlike a boost, it does not multiply an existing rate — it switches a rate on for an account that would otherwise earn none.
What GETRAKEBACK switches, and what it does not
Rakeback pays back a share of the house margin your turnover generates. On an account without rakeback unlocked, that share is 0% — not a low number, genuinely nothing. GETRAKEBACK changes that starting point to whatever your VIP tier's rate is. It does not raise a rate further the way a percentage boost does on some other operators.
The rate itself is not a fixed, published figure across every tier — it depends on your account's VIP status. This calculator asks for your own number precisely because guessing one would be worse than leaving it blank.

The formula behind each number
No multiplier here, just an on/off switch
House margin generated = turnover × (house edge ÷ 100). Rakeback with the code unused = 0. Rakeback with the code applied = margin × (rate ÷ 100). The difference is simply the second figure, since the first is always zero. Rakeback as % of expected loss = rakeback applied ÷ margin × 100.
Worked scenario: rate off vs rate on
Take $50,000 of monthly turnover and a 3% average house edge: house margin generated is $1,500. Without GETRAKEBACK applied, rakeback on that turnover is $0. With a 5% unlocked rate, rakeback is $1,500 × 5% = $75 — recovering 5% of the money that turnover is expected to lose to the house.
The gap between those two lines is the entire value of applying the code. There is no partial credit for having an account without it — the calculator shows that starkly on purpose.
Why this differs from a rakeback boost
Rainbet's BOOST20 multiplies a rate that exists either way. Stake's GETRAKEBACK creates the rate in the first place. The practical difference: on Rainbet, forgetting the code still leaves you with an unboosted rate. On Stake, forgetting the code can mean earning nothing at all on turnover that would otherwise qualify. Compare the Rainbet version to see the multiplier model side by side.
What this calculator cannot tell you
- Your exact VIP tier thresholds and unlocked rate — only your account screen has those
- Whether rakeback pays instantly or accrues on a schedule — check your account's rewards panel
- Whether the code can be added to an account that already exists, or is signup-only — confirm with support before assuming either way
- Anything about a deposit bonus — rakeback carries no wagering requirement to model with the wagering calculator
Licence, geo-restrictions and playing safely
Licensing. Access is blocked in a number of countries and US states, and the list is maintained by the operator rather than published as a stable document. The current restricted list and licence details live on the operator’s own terms page — read them before you register.
Your side of it. Crypto casinos settle fast, which is exactly what makes them easy to overplay. Before your first deposit at Stake, set a deposit cap and a session timer in the account settings — not in your head.
- Deposit limits and self-exclusion tools live in account settings, not support chat
- A losing session is not a signal to raise the stake — it is a signal to stop
- Bonus turnover targets are not a reason to keep playing past your limit

Frequently asked questions
What does GETRAKEBACK actually switch on?
Stake's rakeback is not active on every account by default. The code GETRAKEBACK is what unlocks it — before that, rakeback on your turnover is 0%. After it, your account earns whatever rate your VIP tier pays.
Is GETRAKEBACK a boost, like Rainbet's code?
No, and that distinction matters. Rainbet's BOOST20 multiplies a rate an account already earns. GETRAKEBACK switches a rate on for an account that would otherwise earn nothing. The comparison here is rate off against rate on, not rate against a boosted rate.
Where do I find my actual rakeback rate once it is unlocked?
In your account's VIP or rewards panel. Stake does not publish a single fixed rate for every tier as a quotable public figure — check that panel for your actual rate.
Does entering the code cost anything or lock my balance?
No. It is a signup or account setting, not a deposit match, so it carries no wagering requirement of its own to clear.
Why does the calculator show 0% as one of the results?
Because that is the honest starting point. Without the code, or on an account where rakeback was never unlocked, the rakeback line on identical turnover is genuinely zero — not a small number, zero.
Does a higher house edge mean more rakeback?
Yes, mechanically — more margin generated means more rakeback at the same rate. It also means you are losing more overall, so chasing rakeback by moving to higher-edge games is not a way to come out ahead.
Can this calculator model Rainbet's boost instead?
Use the Rainbet VIP calculator for that — same underlying maths, framed around a multiplier rather than an on/off switch.
