Each of the three reels is independent and lands on one of five symbols with fixed weights out of 20: Cherry 6, Lemon 5, Bell 4, Star 3, Seven 2. That makes Cherry the most common symbol and Seven the rarest. A payout is credited only when all three reels show the identical symbol; nothing is paid for a partial match or a near miss.

The full RTP arithmetic, worked out in the open
Multiply each symbol's triple-chance by its payout and add the five results: 0.001×588 + 0.003375×30 + 0.008×12 + 0.015625×6 + 0.027×3, which is 0.588 + 0.10125 + 0.096 + 0.09375 + 0.081 = 0.96. That sum, 0.96, is exactly the 96% configured RTP shown on this page — not a rounded estimate, the exact result of this paytable's own numbers.
Why RTP is a long-run average, not a per-spin promise
A 96% RTP does not mean any individual spin returns 96% of the stake — almost every spin here returns either zero or one of five fixed multiples of the bet. The 96% is what the weighted average of every possible outcome converges toward as the number of spins grows large, exactly the same idea behind the house edge figures on our roulette and baccarat simulators, just built from a different payout shape.
This is also why a losing streak of dozens of spins in a row is entirely normal under this configured RTP: with any triple landing on only about 5.5% of spins, runs of fifteen, twenty or more consecutive non-paying spins happen routinely, not because anything is broken.
